Micarta Material has increasingly grown in popularity due to its durability and easy-to-grip properties. Canvas or Burlap Micarta substrates use larger fibers than Linen Micarta, with burlap providing the coarsest texture. Canvas or Burlap laminated sheets consist of thermosetting resins blended with canvas cloth. The combined materials are then pressed together under high heat and pressure to create a thick, durable material that can be fabricated into various shapes and sizes, commonly used for knife handles and firearm grips.
