Note: All steel is sold by the foot. When picking the quantity of 2, equals a 2 foot bar. CPM steels are in 3 foot lengths. Please provide your cutting instructions in the shopping cart left of the total price in the box “Special instructions for seller”.  If no instructions are provided, we cut based on the following:
2 foot lengths will ship in 2 foot lengths.
3 foot lengths will ship in 3 foot lengths.

Produced by Crucible looking to make minute improvements to their S30-V stainless, a retuned chemistry based on vanadium and chromium, the addition of Niobium improved toughness and wear resistance over other stainless steels such as 440-C.

In its annealed state, S35-VN is easily machined to a degree, which is one reason it is a choice among makers who do a portion of their cold work on a CNC or when used for folders.
